The political circus surrounding the Governor of Illinois Rod Blagojevich got a little more surreal when he revealed this morning that he had considered selecting Oprah Winfrey to replace Barack Obama as one of the two Senators representing the state of Illinois.
In an interview with ABC's Good Morning America he said that although he considered offering the position to Oprah he knew she probably would not have accepted it.
In response Oprah speaking on SIRIUS XM (see audio below) confirmed that she would not have been interested if approached.
