Ashley Cole paid a visit to estranged wife Cheryl Cole who's been feeling very poorly.

Ashley Cole shared a 'strained but cordial' chat with poorly Cheryl when he paid a visit to say get well soon.

While the world waits for the singer to instruct divorce lawyers to proceed with a formal split, he dropped in to their �6million Surrey mansion on Friday to see her.

She is bed-bound suffering from bronchitis and the injured footballer wanted to give a personal 'get well soon' message after returning from a sports injury clinic in France.

Attempts by Ashley Cole to reconcile with estranged Wife Cheryl Cole seemed to have hit the buffers after he was ordered out of the marital home only 20 minutes into attempts to persade Cheryl to take him back.

Furious Cheryl Cole threw ­disgraced husband Ashley out after just 20 minutes when he turned up for their first face-to-face meeting in a month.

Heartbroken Cheryl refused to speak to him, see him or even allow him into the same room as her at their £3million mansion, we can reveal.

She stayed out of sight in the living room in a humiliating snub to philandering Cole, who was given just a few minutes to pack some clothes.

Then enraged Cheryl got her mother Joan, 50, to show him the door.

Just hours earlier Cole, 29, had been bragging to friends that he expected to win back X ­Factor judge Cheryl – despite repeatedly cheating on her.

He arrived at short notice on Friday night ­assuming he would get his first opportunity to grovel in person since Cheryl, 26, ordered him out of the Surrey mansion three weeks ago.

Peter Dickinson : The Voice of X-Factor

If you ever watched TV on Saturday night for any length of time, you would have definitely heard his voice.

X-Factor, Britain's Got Talent and Family Fortunes, one thing they all have in common are the deep dulcet tones of ITV's Saturday night "voice over man" Peter Dickinson.

Alexandra Burke beats Bublé, Houston to top album chart

Last year's X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke has scored a remarkable double. Having topped the Singles chart last week with 'Bad Boys' has now has beaten Michael Bublé and Whitney Houston to top the UK albums chart this week.

Her debut album Overcome sold 132,065 copies in its first week of release to debut at number one. Her first single 'Bad Boys' which is also from the album was knocked off the top of the singles chart this week by Cheryl Cole's 'Fight For This Love'.

Crazy Love, the fourth studio album from Canadian singer Michael Bublé, was at two on the albums chart with sales of 78,006.

While Whitney Houston sold 51,632 copies of I Look To You, her first collection of new material since 2002, to debut at three.

Cheryl Cole "I would snog Dannii"

Cheryl Cole handed her drooling male fan base an XXX-tra special fantasy last night after confessing she would snog fellow X-Factor beauty Dannii Minogue.

The Girls Aloud star made her confession during a live web chat on MySpace where she played a game of 'snog, marry and avoid', choosing between Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Minogue.

The singer, 26, then stunned her fans when she picked the Australian stunner as her fantasy kiss writing "We would have to go snog Dannii" she wrote. "I'd kind of like to avoid the other two..."

"I'd kind of like to avoid the other two but I could not bear the thought of being married to Simon Cowell" she continued. "Because one, you would not get a word in edgeways, two he is always right, and three because it's enough just sitting next to him on the weekend"

She declared, leaving her no choice but to 'Marry' Louis.

They first met when Kutcher was a fresh faced 25 year old actor and the then Ms Moore already an established actress had had two marriages behind her (musician Freddie Moore (1980-84) and actor Bruce Willis (1987-2000)), six years later it is still going strong.

Mariah Carey(39) and Nick Cannon (30). She is the world's best selling solo artist and winner of countless awards and he is a part-time presenter, comedian and rapper, but together they are a sizzling hot YMTB couple. It was a whirlwind romance quickly followed by marriage in 2008 in Bahamas, what a Vision of Love some might say (not us though, cos we don't do cheesey stuff!).

Girls Aloud storm the Brits...with their boys in tow

Girls Aloud were celebrating their first Brit award ever after a long wait and they arrived with all their men in tow.

Cheryl Cole was there with her man Ashley, the Chelsea footballer looks like he might finally be out of the dog house after their marriage went through a very rocky patch following newspaper revelations early last year.

Nadine Coyle jetted in from her US base with the man in her life, American Football star Jason Bell. With the NFL season over he clearly was up for a good old party.

Sarah Harding came with DJ boyfriend Tom Crane. Despite persistent rumours that have dogged their relationship it looks like it stil going strong-ish.

The steady ship of the group Kimberley Walsh and and her boyfriend of the last five years Justin Scott were there as well.

And last but not least is the somewhat unlucky-in-love Nicola Roberts, she hit the Brits with her new boyfriend, Kent Barman Charlie Fennell.

It has been a high profile week for the girls as in addition to enjoying their first ever Brit award they will also be performing at Jade Goody's wedding on Sunday

Are Girls Aloud becoming Girls Apart ?

Love them or hate them Girls Aloud have been one of the UK Reality TV phenomenons of the last decade with three UK No 1's, four platinum albums and a double platinum album.

Like most UK artistes real success means making it big in the US of A. Ok group member Nadine Coyle's is involved with a chain of successful Irish Pubs around Los Angeles and the love of her live is NFL cornerback Jason Bell, good going girl, but that's not the sort of success we are talking about.

Cherly Cole had a top 4 UK hit Hearbreaker with Black Eyed Peas frontman will.I.am, closer but still not there although it looks like Cheryl isn't resting on her oars.

On the back of her high profile as a judge on the ITV reality show X-Factor Cheryl is looking to make a determined push into the US Market. She was reported as being seen having 'talks' with US TV executives in London at a Knightsbridge restaurant.

A US career plus her X-Factor commitments will certainly put a big question mark over her Girls Aloud future and maybe the future of the group. We are going to have to watch this space.
