They are not going to be seeing each other again in a hurry I think.

Lil' Kim : White woman trapped in a black body

The release of the Notorious BIG biopic notorious seems to have ignited a war of words between the late rapper's relatives and associates.

Violleta Wallace the mother of Notorious BIG was said to have called Lil' Kim a white woman trapped in a black body after Kim had complained about the complexion of the actress who played her in the film according to music magazine NME.

P Diddy longtime associate of Notoroius Big has waded in to the row, and has released a video on YouTube in effort to defuse the issue.

Robby is back in England ...

Is a full Take That reunion on the cards?

Robby Williams has left the sunny climes of Los Angeles and jetted back into the artic conditions we are currently 'enjoying' in England. Reports say he left because he's been feeling a bit homesick and to be honest it is isn't like he has been particularly creative music-wise in the last few years over there.

Maybe the return back to Blighty can re-spark the creative flames and and I guess to help along the way he has splashed out on a sumptuous £7 million mansion in Wiltshire (north-west of London).

Or maybe it is an opportunity to link up with the other Take That boys who since their reformation in 2005 have gone down a storm with three UK No1 singles and two platinum albums. the industry is buzzing with rumours that a full reunion might be on the cards and Gary Barlow has not ruled out the opportunity for Robbie to rejoin the fold although Robbie's Manager has since played down the rumours.

Whose right whose wrong, we watch....

Ex-Idol Kelly Clarkson is back at No 1.

Kelly Clarkson is back and with a new US No1 as her smash single My Life Would Suck Without You has stormed to the top of the charts from a relatively poor entry at 96, pushing aside former No.1 Lady Gaga's Just Dance.

For Clarkson, the first winner of the American Idol Tv show, this is only her second No1. The first A Moment Like This , was released on the back of her victory on the reality TV show.

The Video for the single debuted during the commerical break of this week's American Idol.

Harry Potter film marred by stuntman injury

The filming of the latest Harry Potter epic - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - has been jolted by what seems to be a very serious injury to the stunt double of Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe.

The man in his 20's sustained the injury during the filming of an aerial sequence at Leavesden Studios, near Watford, UK. He was rushed to nearby Watford Hospital and is being treated for a serious back injury.

This is not the first time a Harry Potter production has been hit by bad news, last year Robert Knox who played the role of Marcus Belby in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was stabbed to death in London.

We at 15 Bytes send our best wishes to the young man.

Robinho arrested over alleged 'sex assualt'

Robinho the diminutive Brazilian football star who plays his club football in England with Manchester City FC has found himself in a serious spot of bother. Reports in England say the Brazilian star was arrested and released on bail in connection with what had been described as a 'sexual assault'. The incident was said to have taken place in a night club in Leeds.

The Brazilian star has however strenuously denied the allegations through his spokesman Chris Nathaniel, " We can confirm that Robinho met the police today, as pre-arranged and as part of a criminal investigation"

"He strenuously denies any allegation of wrongdoing or criminality and is happy to cooperate with the police if required further."

PETA's TV ad 'banned' from Super Bowl.

The animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals - PETA has complained that US TV Network NBC has banned its ad from being shown during the NFL Super Bowl. The ad shows a number of models in suggestive poses with a variety of vegetables and the tag line - Studies Show Vegetarians Have Better Sex.

NBC says they rejected the ad because it breached their standard, but sources claim that the provocative nature of the ad may have been intentiional give all the publicity it is now recieving.

Well you decide.

Is it getting ugly for Ugly Betty?

We live in tough times, but it looks like even tougher times for the former hit show Ugly Betty. Reports from Entertainment Now say the US Network ABC has bumped the show from its regular Thursday 8pm slot during the mid season.

The network is planning to run the Emmy-winning Samantha Who ? which stars Christina Applegate followed by an airing for debut sitcom In the Motherhood in the same slot and it looks like Betty is on vacation till June.

While no slacker Ugly Betty has seen its rating fall from 11.3 million in its first season to 8.7 million in season 3. Will Betty be Back, we'll have to wait and see.

Senator Oprah Winfrey ?

The political circus surrounding the Governor of Illinois Rod Blagojevich got a little more surreal when he revealed this morning that he had considered selecting Oprah Winfrey to replace Barack Obama as one of the two Senators representing the state of Illinois.

In an interview with ABC's Good Morning America he said that although he considered offering the position to Oprah he knew she probably would not have accepted it.

In response Oprah speaking on SIRIUS XM (see audio below) confirmed that she would not have been interested if approached.

Rod Blagojevich faces an impeachment hearing over allegations that he had tried to sell the Senate seat vacated by Barack Obama on becoming US President, and looks likely to lose his post as Governor.

Is Todd Carty the new "John Sergeant" ?

Nope, he is even funnier, if yesterday's Dancing on Ice was anything to go by. The ex-EastEnder has provided us with one of the all time TV classics as he completely lost control during his routine with professional skater Susie Lipanova and skated haplessly into the entrance tunnel. Frank Spencer would have been proud.

It is difficult to describe, but you don't have to take my word for it, thanks to the miracle that is youtube you can see this glorious moment for yourself.

Needless to say here at 15 Bytes we are now fully behind Todd :-)

Dancing on ice - Jeremy Edwards gets the boot

There are in full cull mode on ITV's Dancing on Ice and the latest celebrity to be kicked off is Jeremy Edwards formerly of Holby City and more recently an assortment of increasingly desparate reality TV shows.

Jeremy was in the bottom two with Rugby legend Ellery Hanley but was eventually booted out by the panel of Judges

Amazingly the incredibly shaky Todd Carty continues to thrive in a John Sargeant-esque fashion and it seems in Todd the great British public have once more found a celebrity underdog to vote through irrespective of his performance. Power to the People I say!

Chelsy kicks Prince Harry to the kerb

Prince Harry and his long-time girlfriend Chelsy Davies have split up according to reports from British Newspapers. The five year relationship is said to have been ended after Chelsy decided she had enough of the Prince's playboy ways.

The 24 year-old Zimbabwean daughter of multi-millionaire safari operator met Prince Harry while he was spending a gap year in Cape Town South Africa and with their mutual love of partying amongst other things meant they were an instant hit with each other.

With the Chelsy split the love lives of the two royal boys have both moved from a period of stability to lots of uncertainty as Williams relationship with Kate Middleton is also in an on-off mode.

Well at least for Harry the media attention on his relationship breakdown will move the spotlight off his use of a racist slur against a Pakistani army officer.

Are Girls Aloud becoming Girls Apart ?

Love them or hate them Girls Aloud have been one of the UK Reality TV phenomenons of the last decade with three UK No 1's, four platinum albums and a double platinum album.

Like most UK artistes real success means making it big in the US of A. Ok group member Nadine Coyle's is involved with a chain of successful Irish Pubs around Los Angeles and the love of her live is NFL cornerback Jason Bell, good going girl, but that's not the sort of success we are talking about.

Cherly Cole had a top 4 UK hit Hearbreaker with Black Eyed Peas frontman will.I.am, closer but still not there although it looks like Cheryl isn't resting on her oars.

On the back of her high profile as a judge on the ITV reality show X-Factor Cheryl is looking to make a determined push into the US Market. She was reported as being seen having 'talks' with US TV executives in London at a Knightsbridge restaurant.

A US career plus her X-Factor commitments will certainly put a big question mark over her Girls Aloud future and maybe the future of the group. We are going to have to watch this space.

Did Mariah Carey storm out of Obama inauguration?

Wow there are Divas and then there are DIVAS!. According to stateside reports it is claimed that Mariah Carey stormed out of Obama's inauguration ceremony allegedly upset that she wasn't seated close to the new First Couple.

A spy said, "Mariah was in the VIP area, where every celebrity, like Jon Bon Jovi, Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys and Bruce Springsteen, was seated. But somehow she thought she'd be up with the Obama family. When she realized she wasn't, she bailed."

Hmmmh....The Audacity of Divas, eh!

And the Winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2009 is ............

.....Drum roll - it is Ulrika-ka-ka-ka Jonsson.

Yes the Swedish bombshell (can we still call her that) has emerged as the somewhat surprising winner of the Celebrity Big Brother 2009 finale. It looks like Channel 4 who screened the series have got the winner they always wanted after they alledgedly paid Ms. Jonsson a whopping £175,000 appearance fee for the three week series, the most paid to any of the contestants.

Ulrika beat off the challenge of professional Mancunian and radio presenter Terry Christian.

So the final result is (in descending order of eviction).

Ulrika Jonsson (Winner)
Terry Christian
Coolio
Verne Troyer
Ben Adams
Tommy Sheridan
Latoya Jackson
Michelle Heaton
Mutya Buena (Walked off)
Tina Malone
Lucy Pinder

CBB is no Gangsta's Paradise as Coolio's evicted

Coolio's just been named as the first evictee from the final three in the Celebrity Big brother house. The American who came onto the show with a clear game plan to win seemed somewhat crest fallen when his name was called out.

This leaves broadcaster Terry Christian and TV personality Ulrika Jonsson in the final

We loved Coolio here at 15 Bytes, he provided so many of the classic moments of the series, but he was just too controversial for the British public. Coolio may be out, but for some inexplicable reason he's been stuck in the house for 30 minutes after being named.

Well Coolio we'll see you when you get here, anytime you get here....

Celebrity Big Brother finale: Ben out, Verne out....

The Celebrity Big Brother (CBB) finale kicked off this Friday with the last five housemates in the house and all to play for.

Well the results are rolling in and we have had our first set of evictees, first to go was 'boring' Ben from 90's boy band A1. No surprise there as apart from the suggestions of a CBB romance with Michelle Heaton he created few other talking points. Ben, just remember good looks alone can only take you so far.

The next eviction though was a shock, a big shock. The Bookies and media's favourite Verne Troyer aka Mini-Me from the Austin Powers films was the next out. What happened there, who knows may be it was his controversial snogging a plastic baby doll that did him in....eeeeew...

Well 2 down, 3 to go...

Leona snubbed by Brits.

It seems Leona must have upset some of the head honchos at the Brits awards. Despite her worldwide sucess, appeal and being the first British artist to top the US charts in what seems like centuries she is deemed worthy of only a single nomination at the Brits.

Reporting on the snub the Daily Mirror quoted a music biz insider as saying

“It’s a complete travesty, Leona has been overlooked in her own country.

“She should have been a dead-cert for Best Female. She’s had the most amazing year – even the new US President wanted her to perform at his inauguration.”

Well roll on Feb 18th and we'll find out who wins what...

And Tommy follows.....

As the fifth evictee from Celebrity Big Brother. The Scottish socialist firebrand was probably the least well known housemate ever in CBB history, heck it is probably a stretch calling him a celebrity.

For all his lack of celebrity he can pride himself on being more popular than a Jackson, having beaten Latoya in the popularity stakes.

He may have been unknown before, but after he's definitely going to be the most popular Scottish socialist politician out there.

The five left from Friday's final are Coolio, Terry, Verne, Ben and Ulrika

Latoya Jackson is evicted from Celebrity Big Brother

Celebrity Big Brother races to its Friday final with a dual eviction this Wednesday and first to get the boot today is Latoya Jackson. Latoya becomes the fourth housemate to be evicted this series joining Michelle Heaton, Tina Malone and Lucy Pinder as evictees.

Latoya was initially very popular and tipped to go all the way but it seems her popularity waned once people got over the awe of another Jackson on Big Brother (her brother Jermaine did it last year) she also became increasingly accused of wage whispering campaign against housemates she didn't like.

She did get a warm reception from the eviction crowd though.

So Sorry Ms Jackson it looks like you've got to go.

Barack & Michelle take their first dance....

as the President and First Lady of the United States. Dancing to the Etta James classic 'At last; sung by soul princess Beyonce the First Couple showed some first class moves....

Awww.....Isn't that sweet.

The neighbourhhod ball held at the Washington Convention Centre was the first of a dizzying array of balls the First Couple will attend as a part of the inauguration festivities.

Michelle is glorious in gold

For fashionistas everywhere the big question today was what will Michelle Obama be wearing to the inauguration ceremony? After mixed reviews on her red and black election night dress, an unqualified success it seemed was needed.

What a success she delivered, the Isabel Toledo designed matching golden-yellow dress and overcoat was a bold but inspired choice.

The coat and dress made of Swiss wool lace, backed with netting for warmth and lined in French silk have been universally acclaimed.

"I wanted to pick a very optimistic color, that had sunshine. I wanted her to feel charmed, and in that way would charm everybody," the designer Ms. Toledo explained.

We salute the new First Lady on her stunning choice.

Photo montage of Michelle Obama's the First Lady of the USA (and maybe of fashion?)

Its Official! Barack Obama is the President of the USA

"I, Barack Hussein Obama, do solemnly swear that I will execute the office of president of the United States faithfully, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the constitution of the United States.

"So help me God."

With those words Barack Obama became the 44th president of the United States of America and no longer will he have to say "yes we can", now it is "yes we have"

Congrats to Obama!

Kelly Osborne arrested

Kelly Osborne seems to have got herself in a bit of trouble with the London Met Police. Reports say she was arrested for allegedly slapping a gossip columnist with the British tabloid the Daily Mirror. The incident was alleged to have occured at the London nightclub Punk when the Mirror columnist Zoe Griffin was approached by Kelly and an argument ensued over an article Zoe had written about Kelly and her boyfriend Luke Worrall.

The argument was said to have lead to some 'argy-bargy' and as the police spokesperson put it "a 24-year-old woman attended a central London police station by appointment " in connection with what the police called "a charge of common assault".

I guess we'll have to remember be nice to Jake if we ever write about him....

Michelle Heaton voted off Celeb Big Brother

Ex-Liberty X 'singer' Michelle Heaton is the latest celebrity to be evicted from Channel's 4 Celebrity Big Brother. Michelle is probably best known for the televised reality show which covered her wedding to Andy Scott-Lee and the subsequent breakdown soon after over allegations of infidelity.

Today saw her nominated for eviction alongside Swedish-born TV 'personality' Ulrika Jonsson in a surprise eviction show with Davina McCall later broadcasting the results to the surprised housemates.

Michelle joins evictees Lucy Pinder and Tina Malone as celebrities voted off the show. Ex-Sugababe Mutya Buena walked off the show earlier this week.

Celebs storm Washington in run up to inauguration

The Party on the Potomac is in full swing and it's a who's who of celebs turning up to support Obama. Sunday saw a concert at Washington's Lincoln Memorial with Beyonce, Usher, Stevie Wonder, Denzel Washington, Mary J. Blige, John Legend, Herbie Hancock, Jamie Foxx and Queen Latifah.

Also in attendance were Bruce Springsteen, Garth Brooks, Shakira, Josh Groban and it goes without saying Bono and the rest of the U2 boys (can you have a political showbiz event without Bono? - No!).

The Concert tagged the 'We Are One' was also graced by President elect Obama, wife Michelle and kids Sasha and Malia.

So what's up with Joaquin Phoenix ?

Cast your mind back to 2000 and the Ridley-Scott Roman epic - Gladiator. Yes Russell Crowe was great, but Joaquin Phoenix as the crazed megalomaniac Commodus was simply awesome. The performance won him an oscar nomination and propelled him into Hollywood royalty. Notable performances in Hotel Rwanda and Walk the Line amongst others followed and he had the film world at his feet.

Fast forward to 2009 and it's all gone bizarre, Phoenix now spouts a huge grizzly beard and has seemly given up his acting career while re-inventing himself as a rapper.

It seems the new job hasn't started off too well. A recent set at a Las Vegas club seems to have left a lot to be desired as Phoenix reportedly quit mid-set. We think this is a story to follow...

UK & US single No 1 this weekend is.....

Lady Gaga. The kooky singer from New York has held off the competition as she notches up another week at the top of the UK singles chart and also hold the top spot on the other side of the Atlantic with her single Just Dance.

And if that's not enough she's only gone and got herself nominated for the Grammys in the category of 'Best Dance Recording' for the this track

If you missed it here is Just Dance featuring Colby O'Donis Colón and Akon.

Beyonce will be giving a rendition of the Etta James classic 'At Last' to the millions expected to hit DC.

Here is Beyonce performing the timeless classic at the Fashion Awards - Fashion Rocks 2008.

Bad Karma for Boy George

It seems a long way from the glory days of the 80's for pop's most famous cross-dresser Boy George.

He has been sentenced to 15 months in jail for handcuffing and beating up a male 'escort' in what has been described as a drug-fuelled rage...

Karma's a bitch !

Is there no end to Will Smith's talents

He's handsome, he's rich, he's got a beautiful family and just when we though we had reigned in all the envy we had, we find he can solve the Rubik's cube in 55 seconds...

Brits just love flashing.....

Ok not flashing in the not so nice way, but the whole flash mob mentality seems to be enjoying a resurgence, first there was the T-Mobile flash mob advert which was shown on Celebrity Big Brother and caused a huge buzz, not to be out done a whole lot of suburban folk protesting the expansion of London's Heathrow Airport had their own flash mob at the airport.

The dress code was topless or red shirt, it seemed to hinged around some kind of 'Slaughter' theme, not sure why, how or what.

Talking about Celebrity Big Brother we are loving Coolio. Not every one's taste but he's delivering the entertainment for us and that's why we watch....

Hi and welcome....

To the Paparazzi paradise, celeb hangout that is 15 bytes of fame. Ok, may be we aren't there yet but give us a few decades.... lol.
