In case you've missed it, this is a boxing story (yes we do sports as well, well occasionally) of plucky British Challenger David Haye taking on the giant and I mean giant Russian champion Nikolai Valuev.
Nikolai stands at 7ft 2 and David a comparatively minute 6 ft 3.
Now just who would you put you money on? Well you would have been wrong ! In their world heavyweight championship bout tonight in Germany, David defied what looked like to the lay man as a lost case to beat the Russian giant on points after 12 rounds 114-114, 116-112, 116-112.
p.s just for the record most boxing pundits thought David would win, but why ruin a good headline...
